Reading Is Essential

THEY enjoy where the music takes their mind

as they read the dance floor

read the collective and solo movements

the expressions on sweat drenched faces

the imprints in the stomped dirt

the bodies shakin' on the wood floor

AS THE DJ

reads the rhythm in their feet, the sensation

running through their neck loops, the hip

maneuverings, and torso pulsations

So Yes Yes Yes...

In my adolescence, unconsciously, I began feeling people

and situations

It was like my superpower, my internal defense system

It still is

I suppose this comes from being somewhat

of an overthinker

or

being given up at birth

I don’t quite know

Feeling or reading people is like any other skill, I guess

you become good at it with consistency

I feel the dance floor

I feel the DJs vibe in that booth or on that stage

Why

because I love the art of dance

I love to watch great dancers

I love to listen and dance to a DJ

that tells stories through their mixing techniques

I do

I don't go to church often

But I love the church experience...

on the dance floor

Time for a Poem

 easy flow

Just a thought  

Molecular flow

Easy

Consistent rhythmic movement

Substances trapped and electrified

By ideas that escaped into the ethers  

Traveling at lightening speed

While extraordinary beings

Shape shift into recognizable

Craftsman with instruments of harmonies and melodies

Into physicians with leaves and roots and dirt bags

And sacks containing air

Small gourds full of water

Glass bowls with glistening heat of fire

Poof

Those awesome elements of the universe

Easy

Flow

From somewhere

Somehow

To everywhere

In time

In Space

As everyone arrives

Back to black

And into divine illumination

Electrified

Evolved

Travelling into new creations

Molecules just flow

Flow easy

Easy flow
